THE ESSENTIALS IN 30 SECONDS

  • Agility's common stock and warrants began trading on Nasdaq on November 5, 2026, under AGLT and AGLTW, after the merger with Churchill Capital Corp XI was completed.
  • The company confirms about $465 million in gross capital before expenses, including a Foxconn-led PIPE and $100 million received before closing.
  • Proceeds are earmarked for Digit 5 production and order fulfillment; logistics customer GXO plans two more US sites in early 2027.

Agility Robotics is now a listed company. Its business combination with the special purpose acquisition company Churchill Capital Corp XI has been completed, and the combined company, named Agility, saw its shares and warrants start trading on Nasdaq on November 5, 2026, under the tickers AGLT and AGLTW. In its announcement, the Oregon-based maker of the Digit robot presents itself as the first pure-play humanoid robotics company to be publicly listed in the United States. SiliconANGLE reports that the merger closed on Wednesday, November 4, in line with the schedule the companies had set out the previous week.

The money raised

Agility says the merger and related financings brought in roughly $465 million in gross capital before transaction expenses, the same amount the two companies had forecast once the redemption deadline had passed. The total includes a private placement led by Foxconn and $100 million of equity the company received ahead of closing. The listing announcement does not give a new breakdown of redemptions, and neither the company nor SiliconANGLE reported the opening or closing share price, so first-day market performance could not be verified at the time of writing.

The company lists four uses for the cash: fulfilling customer orders, expanding commercial deployments, scaling production of Digit, and developing its robotics and physical AI platform. Chief executive Peggy Johnson said the listing gives Agility more resources to accelerate work its robots are already doing for customers.

Customers and production plans

Agility repeats that it holds more than $300 million in committed multi-year orders for Digit 5, a figure it says depends on contractual milestones and product specifications. The release adds some customer detail: GXO, whose Georgia deployment has moved more than 100,000 totes, plans to put Digit into two more US logistics facilities in early 2027. Schaeffler and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada are named as current customers, three other manufacturers, including a large global automaker, are in paid programs, and AGCO has a pilot planned for 2027.

Digit 5, unveiled in September, is due to reach early customers in the first half of 2027, with general availability targeted for the end of that year. It will be built at RoboFab, a 70,000-square-foot plant in Salem, Oregon, designed for up to 10,000 robots a year. Agility also cites a hardware and AI site in Fremont, California, and a planned 50,000-square-foot expansion in Pittsburgh. These order and capacity numbers are the company's own, and how quickly they turn into revenue is the main question investors in the new stock will be watching.
