SenseTime announced the official release of SenseNova 6.8 Flash on the evening of November 2. Rather than presenting it as a general-purpose chatbot upgrade, the Hong Kong-listed company positions the model around office collaboration and design, where the output is a finished file, not a text answer.

What the model is meant to produce

According to IT Home's account of the launch, the model plans presentations slide by slide, deciding what each one should convey and where to pause or add emphasis, then generates transitions, animations and chart build-ups in a single pass. It can produce animated posters that combine imagery, text hierarchy and motion, lay out web pages across different visual styles, and create editable, scalable SVG graphics and animations.

For 3D work, SenseTime says an agent drives Blender: it builds an initial scene, then refines it based on rendered previews and user feedback. The company also says the model can plug into professional design workflows such as Figma, though the reports do not describe how that link works in practice.

A further feature is long-term memory and collaboration across sessions, intended to keep track of a user's goals and constraints, connect information from earlier tasks and flag items affected when requirements change. TechNode notes that a hands-on test of this memory by the outlet QbitAI used an internal development build, so it is not clear how much of it is available in the public release.

Access and claims

The model can be tried in SenseNova Studio, in what IT Home calls an experimental design version, and through the SenseNova Token Plan launched at the same time. It is also available in Raccoon, SenseTime's assistant app, where use is free until December 1, 2026, and SenseTime has published SenseNova skills on GitHub. Paid pricing for the Token Plan was not detailed in the reports reviewed.

Shanghai Securities News reports that, according to SenseTime's evaluations, the model outperforms some international frontier models in agent collaboration, data analysis and presentation generation and leads among domestic models. No benchmark names, scores or competitors were disclosed, so these claims cannot be checked independently for now.

How well SenseNova 6.8 Flash handles real projects, particularly the Blender and Figma integrations, will become clearer once users outside SenseTime's demonstrations put it to work.
