Krea

What it does

Krea is a browser-based creative suite that gathers many generation models behind one interface. It covers image generation and editing (including its own Krea models), video generation with third-party models such as Veo, Kling and Runway, image-to-video, restyling, motion transfer and lip sync. A real-time canvas updates the image as you draw. Other tools include upscaling of images and video, background removal, text- or image-to-3D, LoRA training on your own images, and Nodes for chaining models into workflows. Krea also lists plugins for tools such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Blender, and a developer API with per-model pricing.

Pricing and plans

The free plan gives 100 compute units per day, with limited model access and upscaling up to 2K. On the pricing page, paid plans are Basic at $9, Pro at $35, Max at $105 and Business at $200 per month, providing 5,000, 20,000, 60,000 and 80,000 compute units per month respectively; annual billing lowers these to about $5, $21, $63 and $160 per month. Basic covers all image models but only selected video models; Pro and above include all video models. One-time compute packs are available and expire after 90 days. Enterprise pricing is custom. Prices are shown in dollars and may vary with tax.

Strengths and limits

Compute units are shared across very different models, so the number of outputs depends heavily on which model is used; the vendor gives estimates per plan rather than fixed counts. The pricing page lists a commercial licence on every plan, including the free one. Some details on the pricing page are inconsistent (for example two different Basic annual prices), so it is worth checking the checkout page before subscribing. API usage is billed separately per model.
